Sleepy Philosophy Radio started because I couldn't find what I was looking for. I wanted philosophy content that actually took its time. Not ranked lists of ideas, not “philosophy explained in five minutes,” not someone racing through Nietzsche to get to the next topic. I wanted something you could put on at night and just listen to for a few hours. Something that treated the thinkers seriously enough to sit with their ideas instead of skimming past them.
So I started making it myself. Every episode covers a philosopher or a concept I have actually read and spent time with. Each one is built from the primary texts, the biographies, the context of what that thinker was living through and responding to.
The point is not to have read more, but to have understood more.
I am not trying to be the final word on any of these thinkers. I am just someone who finds this stuff genuinely fascinating and wants to share it in a format that gives it room to breathe.
New episodes every week on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
